Finnish
for real life.

I'm a Finnish language teacher based in Oulu, Finland, and I've been teaching professionally for more than five years. I grew up in Finland speaking both Finnish and English, which allows me to deeply understand the challenges English speakers face when learning Finnish.

Over the years, I've taught thousands of lessons to hundreds of students of all ages from all over the world. My students range from complete beginners taking their first steps with the language to advanced learners refining their fluency for work, studies, or everyday life in Finland. I'm currently in the final stages of developing a comprehensive YKI preparation course, built on my experience supporting students as they prepare for the exam.

I'm patient, understanding, and I emphasise creating a comfortable, relaxed environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. I believe that learning should feel supportive and motivating, rather than overwhelming. At the same time, I'm committed to providing a comprehensive, professional, and well-structured approach to language acquisition.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, illustration, and staying active outdoors.
